Theme: Diversity and Inclusivity in Construction Stakeholder Supply Chain

The International Journal of Construction Supply Chain Management (IJCSCM) is pleased to announce a special theme on ‘Diversity and Inclusivity in Construction Stakeholder Supply Chain’. This is part of IJCSCM’s commitment to the advancement of knowledge in emerging areas of Built Environment research and practice. This peer-reviewed special issue intends to showcase the linkage of stakeholder diversity and inclusivity to construction supply chain performance and management.

This special issue will be interest to construction educators and practitioners, and hopes to feature a collection of papers that address current situations, issues and advances in diversity and inclusivity in construction stakeholder supply chain across construction industries and practices (Architecture, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, MEP, Facility Management and Urban Planning). This themed issue will provide a platform for increased understanding of how the construction industry can be made more inclusive of diverse stakeholders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its supply chain.

Topic areas suggested include but not restricted to the following:
• Indigenous representation in supply chain management
• Migrant and foreign workers in the supply chain
• Women in the supply chain
• Diversity and inclusivity as a catalyst to better supply chain management
• Influence of diversity and inclusivity in supply chain on project success

Authors are welcome to submit high quality original papers within these and related themes. Each scholarly paper will undergo a rigorous peer-review assessment by at least two reviewers and the Guest Editor.

All manuscripts should be submitted electronically to IJCSCM webpage at: www.ijcscm.com using the prescribed template. The submission deadline is 31 August 2020 and is critical to the publication schedule.
